The 8th Match of the CPL 2020 will have us see Guyana Amazon Warriors and Jamaica Tallawahs fight for precious 2 points.

Guyana returned to winning ways after losing their opening match to title-favorites Trinbago Knight Riders. The second game saw them getting the better of St Kitts & Nevis Patriots with a 3-wickets comprehensible victory. Their first focus would be to extend the winning streak.

Jamaica Tallawahs would aim to get back to winning ways and gain some crucial momentum as the tournament progresses. They were outplayed by the Knight Riders of Trinbago, or should we say by Sunil Narine. The southpaw claimed 4-19 before scoring 53 of 38. He's definitely leading the "CPL 2020 Player of the Series Award".

Guyana will once again look at the duo of Imran Tahir and Shimron Hetymer in their respective departments to fire when needed. Hetymer has so far scored 63* and 71 in his first and second match respectively. This signifies the terrific form he is in. Tahir was also brilliant in the second game with figures of 4-0-18-2. He will be accompanied by captain Chris Green and Keemo Paul.

Tallawahs, who are one of the most balanced sides of the tournament, do not rely on a single player. They have got a match winner in every department - be it Glenn Phillips at the top, Russell, Brathwaite in the middle, or Mujeeb and Lamichhane with the bowl. Dre Russ hasn't really fired in the first two matches and would love to get unleash against Guyana.

All in all, GAW vs JT is the perfect match for weekend a cricket fan can desire for.
