The 35th match of the Indian Premier League 2020 will be played between SRH and KKR at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi. The match is scheduled to start at 3:30 PM IST and will be the first match of the Sunday double-header.

We're entering that stage of the tournament where every match becomes crucial. And no team knows is better than these two. SRH are reeling at the fifth spot of the point table with 6 points 8 matches. They've lost two back to back contests which now puts them in a must-win territory. The story is the same for Knight Riders of Kolkata. They've too lost their last two matches and are in an even worse situation than SRH given their poor NRR. Therefore, this is a must win match for both the teams.

The last time SRH met KKR earlier in the tournament at the same venue, KKR won the match by 7 wickets. Opting to bat first, SRH could only put up 142 runs on the board, courtesy Manish Pandey's 51 off 38. In response, KKR chased down the target with 7 wickets in hand and 2 overs to spare. Shubman Gill won the MoM award for his 70 off 62.

SRH are still coping up with their middle order woes. While the presence of Williamson has certainly strengthened it, others have failed miserably when time came. Inclusion of Vijay Shankar had mixed results. Absence of Bhuvneshwar Kumar is also felt in the bowling department.

The Knight Riders have seemingly lost their way in the middle. The biggest setback is their most expensive buy, Pat Cummins, is not picking up wickets. On top of that, Andre Russell is yet to fire. It'd be a great opportunity for both of them to turn things around before moving into the business end of the tournament.

Probable Playing XI

SRH: Jonny Bairstow (wk), David Warner (c), Manish Pandey, Kane Williamson, Priyam Garg, Vijay Shankar, Rashid Khan, Shahbaz Nadeem, Sandeep Sharma, Khaleel Ahmed, T Natarajan

KKR: Shubman Gill, Rahul Tripathy, Nitish Rana, Dinesh Karthik (wk), Eoin Morgan (c), Andre Russell, Chris Green/Sunil Narine, Patrick Cummins, Shivam Mavi, Prasidh Krishna, Varun Chakraborty
