SS

In what can be described as a tussle for finalist tag, Canterbury Kings will take on Central Stags in Super Smash’s sole eliminator final scheduled to be played on Thursday at the competitive Eden Park, Auckland. Third positioned Canterbury Kings needed to buckle up for the knockout eliminator as McConchie led unit succumbed a disheartening 30 runs defeat against Central Stags in the preceding faceoff. Tom Bruce led Central Stags, on other hand recently climbed to career best second spot and is desperately waiting for Thursday’s encounter to carve out another triumph to pursue the winning saga.

Match Preview

Venue: Eden Park Outer Oval, Auckland
Date: February 11th, 2021
Time: 12:00 PM (Local) and 4:30 AM (IST)

Pitch Report

The iconic Auckland ground has always uplifted the truest competition between bat and ball. A healthy bounce with possibility of movement is on cards during the initial over of both innings. Being a traditional Rugby field, the outfield is lightning fast and proper stroke playing is equally important. Sub tropical conditions in Auckland will surely provide an upper hand for spin bowling attack.

A pleasant temperature will welcome both the finalist seat contending teams with temperature tumbling in between 21 degree Celsius and 16 degree Celsius.
