Virat Kohli Pays Tribute to 'Boys Who Makes Life Difficult in Gym But Easy on the Field'

India skipper Virat Kohli shared a picture with Team India’s strength and conditioning coaches Nick Web and Soham Desai on social media. While posting the photo on Monday on Twitter, Kohli mentioned how these two “boys” with their intensive training routines”make life hard” for him in the gym. Kohli added that their efforts of the rigorous regimes certainly make players’ life easy on the field. The preparations are in full swing with just a few days left for the fourth and final Test match against England.

Earlier, India vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane also shared a picture with Webb and batting coach Vikram Rathour on social media.

Ahead of the all-important game in Ahmedabad against England, players have been training in full throttle, toiling hard in the net sessions. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a video on it’s official Twitter handle where skipper Kohli was seen batting in the nets. In addition to the India captain, other team members including vice-captainRahane, Rohit Sharma and Cheteshwar Pujarawere all seen fine-tuning their skills ahead of the series-deciding match at the world’s biggest cricket stadium.

After losing the Test series opener at Chepauk in Tamil Nadu,India won the following two games to take a 2-1 lead in the four-match series. England has now been knocked out from the World Test Championship final race. Team India is next gearing for the fourth Test versus the Three Lions which begins on March 4 in Ahmedabad. India will now hope to win the final face-off. If that happens, India will play against New Zealand in the ICC World Test Championship final. The hosts need to either win or draw the last Test match to enter the final. It will make way for their arch-rivals Australia to proceed to the final.
