Analysis for the match.

Game three of the five match IT20 series between India and South Africa takes place at the Dr. Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy International Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. South Africa can seal the series with a victory in this fixture after winning the opening two clashes. Read on as we preview this IT20. The third game of the series begins at 19:00 local time on Wednesday.

After going on an incredible IT20 winning streak, India are now looking to avoid their third successive defeat. Defeats by 7 wickets and 4 wickets show that India must produce more with the bat.

Must see points.

1). India's batting has struggled and while it may improve, there is no magic fix for its problems

2). South Africa's middle order has more quality and power

3). India's bowling has struggled in this series while South Africa has been all over the Indian batters

Match Predictions: Chasing team to win the match.

1). If IND won the toss and opted to bowl first, SA could score 165-185 runs.

2). If SA won the toss and opted to bowl first, IND could score 170-190 runs.

Secondary Predictions.

1). Highest opening partnership - South Africa.

India has struggled at the top with Ruturaj Gaikwad continuing the horror form he had shown in the IPL. South Africa has problems at the top too but there is small chance that Quinton de Kock could be back for this match. Even if he is not, Reeza Hendricks and Temba Bavuma seem more secure to us than the Indian pair at the moment.

2). Total runs in the match - under 330.5

The expectation for this match is that a low-scoring affair may be played out on a pitch that is difficult to bat on. We think something around 150-160 is going to be par for the venue and so 330.5 is just above that. The Over/Under line is favorable and makes this betting market worth exploring.

3). A fifty in the match - No

This is a very risky bet and you should only place a small percentage of your betting purse on it. At over 5x returns, this will still make it worth your while. Scoring a fifty is not always a given in T20 cricket and on a difficult pitch, it can be quite common for no one to hit a fifty in the match. If the pitch lives up to expectations, you have a great chance of getting some massive returns.

Match Preview.

India's batting did well in the first T20 but really struggled on a tough wicket in the second. You may think that the toss had a lot to do with the outcome of the previous match but we think some poor shot selection choices cost them heavily.

India has been trying to remain aggressive throughout the inning no matter what the situation and it does not seem to be coming naturally to them just yet. Shreyas Iyer has struggled to keep the momentum going at 3, Ruturaj Gaikwad is short of runs, and a strong middle-order crumbled in the previous match.

We have no doubt, though, that this lineup is going to come good sooner rather than later. We think Ruturaj Gaikwad is likely to score runs and the Over/Under line available for him is quite attractive. Similarly, Hardik Pandya is also available at quite an attractive price for various betting markets.

India's batting is struggling but we have not lost hope in it just yet.

The bowling attack could do with a few changes. Arshdeep Singh may get a chance to prove his worth as a death bowler at the international level while Umran Malik continues to cool his heels in the dressing room. We hope India unleashes his raw potential in this match but that is quite unlikely to happen.

South Africa won the first two matches quite comfortably in the end and would love to wrap up the series in Visakhapatnam. Injuries threatened to slow South Africa down but they have absolutely not missed a single beat so far.

Quinton de Kock and Aiden Markram (arguably the two best South Africa T20 batters) were out injured for the previous match and Heinrich Klaassen took responsibility. It showed that South Africa has the depth to be able to stand up against a very strong Indian team at home.

David Miller, Heinrich Klaassen, and Rassie van der Dussen give South Africa every strong middle-order with players that are capable of clearing the boundaries easily and also those that are in great form.

This is where we think the match is going to be won or lost. It is not a bad idea to bet on these three batters to do well in the upcoming match.

Match details.

Time - June 14th, 07:00 pm, IST.

Venue - ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium - Visakhapatnam, India

Pitch reports.

The conditions in Visakhapatnam are expected to be hot and humid. no rain is predicted on match day and that is always good news. The pitch is going to be very interesting to see. The previous match played here was a low-scoring affair and the indications from the ground are that the same may be the case in this match.

We think something around 150 is going to be very competitive.

Team News.

There were no changes to the India XI from the first IT20 on Thursday to Sunday’s game. We saw an improved performance in the second game and, although you can not show an infinite amount of belief during defeats, we expect to see another unchanged side.India had been the form side in this format but they have very quickly racked up two defeats in a row. Individuals are in good form and we expect the team to put in a strong performance.

Possible XI -Ishan Kishan, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant (c & wk), Hardik Pandya, Dinesh Karthik, Axar Patel/Arshdeep Singh, Harshal Patel, Avesh Khan, Yuzvendra Chahal, Bhuvneshwar Kumar

South Africa>>

Opener Quinton de Kock missed out on Sunday due to a wrist injury but we expect him to be fit enough to play in this game. His absence saw two changes to the South Africa line-up with Reeza Hendricks coming in at the top of the order and Heinrich Klassen taking the gloves. We predict that de Kock will come in with Hendricks missing out.South Africa are on a roll in IT20 cricket. They began the T20 World Cup with question marks against their team but finished strongly and have continued that form in this series.

Possible XI -Reeza Hendricks/Quinton de Kock, Rassie van der Dussen, Temba Bavuma (c), Dwaine Pretorius, Heinrich Klaasen (wk), David Miller, Tabraiz Shamsi, Wayne Parnell, Kagiso Rabada, Keshav Maharaj, Anrich Nortje
