Match Preview.

India takes on South Africa in the 5th and final T20I match of the ongoing series between the two countries later today. The match will be played at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru with the series being tied at 2 games apiece. The team winning this match will take home the trophy for the series winner. In the 4th match of the T20I series, earlier India managed to put on a decent score of 169 runs on the board. For the Indian batting, we saw healthy contributions from Dinesh Karthik and Hardik Pandya. Yuzvendra Chahal and Harshal Patel continued their good form in this game. The team was helped by another terrific bowling performance by Avesh Khan who took 4 wickets in the match to help India register a win by a huge margin of 82 runs. India will need Yuzvendra Chahal and Ishan Kishan to keep up their good work in this game to seal the series.

Ishan Kishan is the leading run-scorer for the series for either team. He has scored 191 runs in the series with a strike rate of 146.92 runs. He has also managed 2 fifties in the 4 outings he had thus far. Hardik Pandya has done a decent job for India with the bat scoring 117 runs in the series in 4 outings with a strike rate of 153.94 runs. Harshal Patel is a terrific bowler with great variations and has a lot of skills. He has lived up to the expectations of his team to pick crucial wickets in the series. The bowler is the leading wicket-taker of the series with 7 scalps to his name in 4 matches. The leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal managed to return to form finally and has been successful in taking five wickets in the last couple of games helping his team's cause to win the matches and level the series. Dinesh Karthik is an experienced cricketer and has been in good form in the last couple of months. He has scored a half-century with an innings of 55 runs in 27 balls in the shortest format of the game.

For the South African team, a return to form for Kagiso Rabada and David Miller will be crucial for deciding the fortunes of the team in the series. To make matters worse for the visitors Temba Bavuma is a doubtful starter for this match with some injury concerns. David Miller has contributed 96 runs to the team's cause in 4 innings with a strike rate of 165.51. His top score has been 64 not out and he is the sort of player that can be trusted to come good in a crunch match. Another key batsman for the South African team is Rassie van der Dussen who has contributed 97 runs in 4 innings with a strike rate of 125.97 runs. His top score in the series is 75 runs.

For the Proteas, the leading wicket-taker is Dwaine Pretorius with 5 wickets to his credit in 4 games. He has scored 53 runs for the South African team with the bat. Lungi Ngidi picked up a couple of wickets in his first match of the series but the bowler cannot be trusted to be among wickets in this crucial game as he has a relatively average track record in the series. The left-arm spinner Tabraiz Shamsi has not been in wicket-taking form during the series. This can be one of the major disappointments for the South African team.
