England will face New Zealand in the third and final test in the series at Headingley, Leeds on June 23rd, Thursday. The England team have been brilliant and is leading the series at a margin of 2-0. They are looking forward to whitewash the series.

Daryl Mitchell and Tom Blundell, New Zealand posted 553 in their first innings in the second Test, which was expected to be a good scor to pressurize the opponents. England, in reply, finished their innings on 539, with tons from Ollie Pope and Joe Root. The England bowlers gave a good bowling performance and knocked over New Zealand on 284. The English batters had to chse 299 in 70 odd overs. They had a excellent run chase that the defenders had nothing to do to stop them from winning. England will be coming to this final test in the series brimming with confidence after that win and will look to clean-sweep the series. The visitors will have to try harder, put efforts of their batting and bowling units to avoid whitewash by winning this match.
