Team West Indies and Team India will face each other in the 2nd One Day International Match of the three international Match series on 24th July 2022 (Sunday) at the Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain.

The first One Day International Match became a carefully contested war among the 2 groups and decided the tone for the relaxation of the tour. Batting at first in the match, Team India published a wholesome general of 308 runs on loss of seven wickets from 50 overs.

Team India Captain Shikhar Dhawan led from the front with ninety seven runs. Player Shubman Gill and Player Shreyas Iyer scored 50+ runs as well. Player Alzarri Joseph and player Gudakesh Motie picked up more than one wickets each for the hosts.

In reaction, the Team West Indies placed up a strong reaction and nearly overhauled the goal as well. However, it became a heartbreak for them in the long run as they fell short with the aid of using the exposed margins, completing their innings at 305 runs on the loss of six wickets.

Player Kyle Mayers and player Brandon King scored for half a century, while players like Akeal Hosein, Shamarh Brooks, and Romario Shephard made important contributions in the match, all ultimately to no avail. Team India took 1-0 lead  into the second One Day International Match.

Toss Prediction

The squad that wins the match toss would most likely wish to bat initially in the 2nd One Day International match. We tend to be shocked to envision each captain wanting to field first within the previous 1st One Day International Match since the pitch was thus flat and in absolute favor for the batters. Perhaps the warning of rain was taking a cautious place in their minds.

Match Prediction

Match Prediction: Team India to win this 2nd ODI International Match.

  • Team India have never lost ever in the history, while the team played at Queen's Park Oval.

  • Team West Indies batting line up seems to be a bit unstable and inconsistent as it was clearly visible in the 1st One Day International Match.

  • Team India commits minor and silly mistakes which took the previous match to the tough challenge. However, we expect that it will not be the case for the 2nd One Day International Match.
