Barbados Royals

The showdown event of Caribbean Premier League will see Barbados Royals competing against Jamaica Tallawahs on Saturday at the Providence Stadium in Guyana. The Royals raced to finals with their astonishing 87 runs win over Guyana Amazon Warriors in Qualifier 1. Batting first in the game, the Royals stockpile 195 runs on board, all thanks to splendid knocks from Rahkeem Cornwall (91 runs off 54 balls) and Azam Khan (52 runs off 35 balls). On bowling front, Ramon Simmonds uprooted three-scalps that helped Royals to win the game by 87 runs.

Barbados Royals will play their third CPL final on Saturday, and skipper Kyle Mayers shall look to ride on the momentum to bag Royals third CPL trophy. Rakheem Cornwall and Kyle Mayers have exhibited great show at the top order and the duo needs to explore power-play overs to set up a good total. The Royals’ bowling brigade is powered-up with the presence of Ramon Simmons, Hayden Walsh and Rahkeem Cornwall for the middle overs.

Jamaica Tallawahs

Riding on a roller-coaster ride, Jamaica Tallawahs have made a grand entry into the prestigious final of CPL 2022 after debunking Guyana Amazon Warriors in the Qualifier-2. The Rovman Powell-led side finished the group-stage being the fourth best team this season with just four wins in 10-match spells. However, Tallawahs produced top-notch show in the playoffs and shut-out favorites Saint Lucia Kings with an enthralling 33 runs win and now will be against Barbados for the trophy clash.

Jamaica Tallawahs have won two of their games in the playoffs and will be eager to keep pace with the gained momentum in the ultimate showdown. Openers Brandon Kings and Kennar Lewis have not impressed yet but need to do well at the top in the final. Shamrah Brooks played a match winning knock in the last game and needs to carry the good form. Talking about bowling duties, Mohammad Amir and Chris Green need to attack with the new ball.

Topbets Prediction

An edge of the seat thriller is on the cards where none of the side wants to settle for the runners-up spot. Jamaica Tallawahs have played phenomenal cricket in playoffs but their batters are struggling with form. Their bowlers are leaking runs in the middle overs. On the other side, Barbados Royals consist of a strong bowling attack, and their key players are looking in red hot form. An intense game will be at display where Barbados Royals will start as favorites.
