Analysis for the match.
The conditions for the first T20 of the India vs South Africa T20 2022 series were very different from what we are used to seeing. There was swing, seam, and extra bounce on offer that made life difficult for the batters. India's seamers had better conditions to work with and they made the most of that by running through South Africa.
The second match is going to be in Guwahati, a venue where spinners have traditionally dominated. Both teams will have to adapt quickly.
Must see point.
1). India's top-4 batters are in great form and that is a very promising sign
2). South Africa is struggling with team selection and could find the conditions a bit tough in Guwahati as well
3). India's spinners could be a real handful in this match giving it the edge over South Africa

Match Prediction: IND to win the match.
1). If IND won the toss and opted to bowl first, SA could score 150-170 runs.
2). If SA won the toss and opted to bowl first,IND could score 160-180 runs.
Secondary Predictions.
1). Suryakumar Yadav to hit a six - Yes.
This is one of our favorite betting markets. SKY is in the form of his life and he has the best strike-rate ever for a middle-order batter in T20 cricket from an established cricketing nation. He smashed three sixes in the previous match, including two of first-three deliveries. There is a great chance he will hit one more.
2). Virat Kohli total runs - Over 21.5 runs.
Virat Kohli has a tendency to score big runs when he gets his eye in. he has tempered his all-out aggression just a bit and we think he is close to finding the right balance for T20 cricket. He should score runs if he gets past the first over he faces.
Match Preview.
India's new ball pair, Arshdeep Singh and Deepak Chahar, bowled with the ball on a veritable string as they destroyed the South Africa batting. Once you have the opposition at 9-5 in just 2.3 overs, the match is essentially over. Harshal Patel also bowled reasonably well but the work was already done before he came on.
It is highly unlikely that the seam bowlers will get that kind of help in Guwahati.
We think Axar Patel and Ravi Ashwin will be bigger threats. Deepak Chahar tends to get swing with the new ball and will be crucial to pick up early wickets. India's batting is pretty much set at the moment with just the number five position being swapped between Hardik Pandya and Rishab Pant.
With all four of India's batting order in great run-scoring form, especially SKY who has taken his game to another level, India will be formidable at home. Risks remain as the depth in the batting lineup is a bit lacking but in home conditions, that should not matter too much.
South Africa was humbled in the previous match and that kind of a loss can really leave a scar. The pressure is on Temba Bavuma to prove that he is more than a political necessity in this South Africa T20 lineup. His position at the top of the order is perhaps the biggest advantage that an opponent can have. Keeping him in for as long as possible should be one of the strategies.
South Africa's batting failure could also bring a change in the lineup. Reeza Hendricks has been in great form but had to sit out the previous match. It will be a bit reactive if South Africa changes its lineup after just one match but don't count it out.
The core of the South African team is still strong. It has some very good batters like Quinton de Kock, Aiden Markram, David Miller, and a terrific power-hitting finisher in Tristan Stubbs. The bowling lineup has genuine pace with Anrich Nortje, Kagiso Rabada, and two very different but effective spinners in Keshav Maharaj and Tabraiz Shamsi.
South Africa is always going to be a contender against India even though the conditions are not to its liking.

Venue - Barsapara Cricket Stadium - Guwahati, India
Pitch reports.
There is a small chance of rain in Guwahati and we could have some interruptions. The pitch is generally a bit slow and helpful for the spinners. This is not a surface where lots of big scores have been achieved in the past. We think something around 160 could be a decent score at this venue.
Team News.
India>>
Jasprit Bumrah became the latest global superstar to be ruled out of this year’s T20 World Cup and the Indian pace bowler will be hard to replace in the team. Arshdeep Singh came back into the side in the opening game and we expect to see him opening the bowling again in this match.India continue to impress in this format. They have won three games in a row with four victories from their last five.
Possible XI - Rohit Sharma (c), KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant (wk), Dinesh Karthik, Axar Patel, Ravichandran Ashwin, Harshal Patel, Deepak Chahar, Arshdeep Singh
South Africa>>
In spite of the incredible run scoring feats in this format over the UK summer from Reeza Hendricks, there was no place for him in the XI for the opening game with captain Temba Bavuma resuming his career at the top of the order. It would be a surprise if there are any changes ahead of this match. The heavy defeat in Trivandrum ended a run of four successive victories for South Africa in IT20s.
Possible XI - Quinton de Kock (wk), Temba Bavuma (c), Rilee Rossouw/Reeza Hendricks, Aiden Markram, David Miller, Tristan Stubbs, Wayne Parnell, Kagiso Rabada, Keshav Maharaj, Anrich Nortje, Tabraiz Shamsi
