A win seeking England will be against confident Blackcaps in the 33rd fixture of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 at the Gabba in Brisbane on testing Tuesday. The Brits started the campaign with a handsome win against Afghanistan but failed to further stretch the winning momentum and succumbed to a shocking defeat against Ireland. Their all-important clash against Australia was abandoned due to heavy rain and England will be in a must win contest in Tuesday’s clash.

England just cannot afford to lose this game, and a win here will keep their semifinal’s hopes alive. Alex Hales and Jos Butler must dominate the powerplay overs and keep New Zealand’s fiery pace-attack under pressure. The Three-Lions is loaded with match-winners in the middle order, and Dawid Malan, Ben Stokes and Liam Livingstone should put up a good show with the bat. On the bowling front, Ben Stokes and Chris Woakes must get early breakthroughs.

New Zealand

New Zealand have been enjoying a brilliant run in the T20 World Cup 2022, and are topping the ‘Group Of Death’ with two wins in three games. They launched into the T20 World Cup 2022 with a comprehensive win against Australia. However, their in-line fixture against Afghanistan was washed out due to rain. The Kiwis then minimized Sri Lanka in the next game and convincingly registered a 65 runs win. Glenn Philips was the star of the game against Sri Lanka where he scored a magnificent 100 runs off 60 balls.

New Zealand would be eager to win the game against England and seal a berth in the semi-finals. Their batting line-up has impressed so far, and Devon Conway has done well at the top order alongside Finn Allen. Glenn Philips will come into the game with a hundred under his belt and will be a vital force in the middle order. Trent Boult and Tim Southee are lethal force with new ball in hand and would be joined by the specialized spin-attack of Ish Sodhi and Mitchell Santner.

Topbets Prediction

England will be under immense pressure in this game of survival. The English batters must take the charge and lead from the front against Blackcaps distinguished bowling attack. New Zealand have their spirits high and their batters are in good control of the game. New Zealand will foresee the game as any other Super-12 league game and will be composed in their approach that names them slight favorites to win the game.
