Indian batsman KL Rahul carries the caliber to offer backbone support to India’s batting unit in spite of the fact the wicket keeper batsman is not selected in the playing XI for the England test. Why is he sidelined from the team? Is he still injured?

I believe that injury is not the reason for sidelining KL Rahul from the team line-up. The player didn’t received a placing in Playing XI because of not a proper batting position as all the spots are being equipped by performing Indian batsmen and player like KL Rahul cannot be demotivated by placing at 6th or 7th position as India always need a part time bowler at that position and KL Rahul doesn’t bowl.
Rohit and Shubhman Gill are performing quiet magical in the top two positions (opening pair) and team cannot risk to carve out The Modern Wall Cheteshwar Pujara. Virat Koihli, Pujara and Rahane are also playing well and cannot be asked to sit out.
