Recently West Indies player Kieron Pollard smashed 6 sixes in an over but the achievement was not hyped by the cricket lovers across the globe. Why different rate of appreciation for Pollard’s six sixes and Yuvraj’s same achievement? Was there any difference between both the achievements?

As per my knowledge about the game, Yuvraj’s episode was much talked and become famous because Yuvi smashed those sixes in a response of banter with Andrew Flintoff. As well as, the bowler was England’s best man with the job Stuart Broad and the stage was of first-ever T20 world cup in presence of live audience. That’s why much appreciation was accorded for the Indian left handed batsman.

On the other side, Pollard achieved the record against Sri Lankan bowler Akila Dhananjaya (spin bowler) and the stage was of bilateral T20 match and no previous banter was involved to spice up the achievement. That’s why spectators apprehended both the episode with different degree of applauds. Never the less, for me both the feats were equally important and significant.
