ICC has recently published the nomination for the ICC’s Best Men Cricketer for the year 2021-22? Why there is no nomination from India for this prestigious award? Does Indian men team underperformed in the year 2021?

Because India collectively performed as a unit in most of the international series (Tests, ODI's and T20I's).

Virat Kohli has won a few matches for India, while Rohit Sharma has won a few matches for India.

Similarly, cricketers like Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Axar Patel, Rishabh Pant, Shikhar Dhawan, Wriddhiman Saha, Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur, etc. have won them matches in some capacity at some point of 2021.

Although India couldn't win the 2021 World Test Championship and 2021 World T20, thanks to the fatigue carried by the players beforehand, and with almost same squad playing across formats, Indian players performed well collectively whenever India won in 2021.

So, with no individual standout consistent performance from any player from India, unlike from Mohammad Rizwan, Kane Williamson, Joe Root or Shaheen Shah Afridi, India didn't had any.
