Most of the Indian pacers are right-handed and absence of left arm able pacer is always felt in the team India’s bowling line-up. Why doesn’t Indian selectors find a solution to this problem even after knowing that left arm pacer proves beneficial against top order batters?

I think the techniques of the present Indian batsman are not as good as the batsmen in the previous generation and they have learned everything except how to play a left fast bowlers. Yes, in the past few years, the left arm fast bowlers have really hurt the Indian team in some of the most important matches, whether he was Trent Boult in 2019 and 2021 World Cups or Shaheen Afridi in the the World Cup 2022. And it’s surprisingly that players like KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are not able to play the bowlers well enough, giving away their wicket.

I think the Indian coaches should really take care of this aspect because now most teams in the world have identified this. They just take one left arm pacer in their lineup and the mighty Indian batting lineup goes down like a pile or cards. India has had such good left arm bowlers like Zaheer Khan and Ashsih Nehra etc. who can assist the team and offer solutions. However, if the team does not wish to find a solution to this, I think they would keep faltering in the big tournaments, winning only Paytm trophies.
