For me, he has all but sealed the spot of third pacer for the ODI world cup. The only thing he needs to do is to perform against New Zealand and Australia in the next two months to seal his spot. He's been that good in ODIs since his comeback.
From Aug 2022 to till date, his stats are -
Innings - 11
Wickets - 22
Bowl Avg - 17.27
Bowl SR - 23.6
Economy - 4.38
I've considered Aug 2022, as he made a comeback to the ODI side from that period. And he hasn't looked back. He's been highly consistent, economical and wicket taking. He has the third most wickets in the period, most for a pacer from a test playing nation.
His skill sets are amazing. He can swing and seam the ball. He also has a good slower one and bowls short balls effectively. Interestingly, I also found out that he has reversed the white cherry in ODIs (Not sure how much of it is true. But have a look at the stats).
